Awarded the prestigious RoSPA Sector Award 2008, the NEBOSH sponsored award was presented by Lord Jordan to our Health and Safety Manager at the annual ceremony in Birmingham.
This is the second successive year that we have achieved this accolade which makes us unique within our discipline and demonstrates a commitment to improving Occupational Safety and Health to our staff, clients and the public at all levels.
Achilles
The Achilles group has served the utility sector for over ten years by bringing buyer and supplier communities together. Hortech is an approved and verified contractor to the utility sector through the Achilles Verification audit and assessment programme.
Britannia SAFEcontractor
Hortech is a SAFEcontractor accredited company. This is achieved through an assessment of the company health and safety management systems compared with Charter Standards determined by industry professionals.
CHaSPI
Hortech Limited was presented with an award by Lord Hunt of Kings Heath, Minister for Health and Safety, for completion of the Health and Safety Executive’s Corporate Health and Safety Performance Index (CHaSPI).
As only one of 25 organisations attending the awards at the House of Lords, Hortech Limited demonstrated its dedication to promoting the importance of health and safety management within the industry. The event was attended by our Managing Director and the award was received by our Health and Safety manager.
